“When visionaries think alike and join hands, history is created.” A new era was ushered in when four visionaries laid the foundation of Gyan Da International School in 2065 BS, which revolutionized the face of education in Nepal. Situated on the historically rich land of Mithila, Janakpurdham, GIS is the guiding light of world-class education that leads students in the path of erudition across the land. GIS was envisaged with the idea of revolutionizing the long-established, deep-seated arrangement of traditional learning that is strongly positioned on the foundation of rote learning and mere content delivery. As the name suggests, Gyanda is a lantern of knowledge that dazzles bright with knowledge, enlightenment, dedication and resolution. Under the protective wings of efficient teachers who adopt a standardized and methodical approach to teaching via the medium of English language and conduct diverse co-curricular activities, here in GIS, the students undergo all-round personality development and become the finest version of themselves, while acquiring sufficient expertise to match competence with fellow students at a national and international scale. The academic standards of GIS are distinctive. Despite having essence of and exposure to international standards, our ethics and principles are proudly embedded on the Nepalese tradition, culture and values. GIS is a one-of-a-kind institution in Nepal, that embraces both a state-of-the-art modernized technology and humanistic compassion, to deliver nonpareil schooling to our pupils at a reasonable and moderate fee structure. At present, GIS intends to start operating from the academic session of 2078 B.S for preschool to K-8 level.
