GIS provides van/bus facilities that are available on selected routes. The details of routes, bus timings and conveyance charges may be obtained by the parents directly from the Transport Supervisor.
The student shall be at the bus stop at least 10 mins before the scheduled pick-up time.
In the case of missing the bus, students shall have to make their own arrangements to reach school.
A change in the approved route and door to door pickup will not be provided to avoid delays.4. If a change in the pickup/drop off point is to be made, parents must notify it to the transport supervisor well in advance via a written note.

Suspension from School bus/van will be enforced if:
The student is repeatedly late for their pickup.
The student uses inappropriate language and bullies others inside the school vehicle.
The student resorts to unacceptable behaviour.
The student is disrespectful towards the bus driver/conductor.
IMMEDIATE MEDICAL AID
GIS provides first aid facilities to treat minor injuries and illnesses in the school infirmary.
Besides, special health camps like eye check-up, dental check-up, etc. will be organized in the school at regular intervals to develop health awareness among students, and keep tabs on their health and identify any conditions that might need immediate medical attention.
In case of serious illness or injury, the school authority has the right to isolate or hospitalize the student or contact the parents to take the child home immediately.
Parents are advised to not send the student to school if they are unwell.
SCHOOL LIBRARY
Our school library is one of the many educational aids that we provide for the benefits of our students.
Students must observe the following rules in the library:
Students must observe strict silence in the library.
Books will be issued to the students only in the regular library periods.
Students are allowed to borrow books only on their own identity card.
Books will be issued for one week only.
The students are expected to take proper care of the books.
Books lost, marked, damaged or disfigured must be replaced or be paid for by the borrower.
Before borrowing a new book, the previous book has to be returned.
Books must be returned before long holidays or vacations commence
A fine will be levied if the book is not returned within the scheduled time.
All articles and personal belongings must be left outside while entering the library.
IMMEDIATE MEDICAL AID
In the Computer laboratory, students are expected to:
Observe strict silence to promote a conducive environment for working and learning.
Remove shoes before entering the computer lab.
Take nothing into the computer lab without prior permission of the teacher.
Avoid taking Pen drives, CDs or DVDs inside the lab.
Pay special care while operating the computer.
Not unnecessarily occupy a system when not working, and make the machine available for use to the next user.
Follow the instructions of the teacher carefully.
Pay for any damage inflicted on the computer or any other property in the computer lab.Books must be returned before long holidays or vacations commence
Immediately report any kind of damage or defect to the teacher-in-charge.
All articles and personal belongings must be left outside while entering the library.
