Day 1 Opening Ceremony
Annual Sports Day is an important event in the life of every school. Sports themselves have a vital role in making a child sound physically as well as mentally.
The Annual Sports Day of our school was held on 22nd of December 2023. It was held in the playground of our school. Students celebrated its Annual Sports Day – 2080, amidst great mirth, verve, and camaraderie. The month of December is earmarked for this occasion, as, at this time, the weather is pleasing for a long span of games on the ground.
Honorable Mrs. Julie Kumari Mahato, Member of the House of Representatives of Nepal was the Chief Guest of the Opening Ceremony of our Annual Sports Day. Honorable Mr. Dipendra Thakur, Member of the Provincial Assembly, Dhanusha, Madhesh Pradesh and Respected Mr. Manoj Kumar Sah, Mayor of the Janakpur Sub-metropolitan City, Dhanusha were the Special Guest of our Annual Sports Day.
The sports day began with lamp lightning by respected dignitaries followed by school song, welcome song & national anthem by choir group. After this There was March past by students of primary & secondary section along with tiny tots of Pre-k.
After that students of senior grade performed a dance to show their excitement & sportsmanship for sports day followed by felicitation of chief guest & special guests by our school management committee. Then Our chief guest Honorable Mrs. Julie Kumari Mahato shared her valuable words with us along with the special guests and dignitaries from different fields.
Starting off with lots of blazing cheers, the students eagerly participated in various events 50 Metre-race, 100 Metre-race, 200 Metre-race, Musical Chair, Relay race, Skipping Race, Fish Race, Bunny Race, and the most exciting part of this happening day was the Kabaddi. It was an event that gave them a chance to display their team spirit.
Teamwork and efforts put in by the Sports department and talented students was highly appreciated for making the Day 1 of Annual Sports Day a grand success.
